Cancellations by You
Because our tours involve advance bookings with small, independent hotels and guesthouses, refunds are scaled to how close your cancellation is to departure:
- 30+ days before departure: full refund, minus a 10% booking fee to cover costs already committed to our accommodation partners.
- 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund.
- 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund.
- Less than 7 days before departure, or no-show: no refund.
Refunds are calculated from your confirmed tour price and processed within 10 business days of your cancellation request.
Rescheduling
We're happy to help you move your trip to a new date where possible, subject to availability. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change.
Cancellations by On Journey
In the rare case that we need to cancel a confirmed tour (for example, due to insufficient group size on a group departure, or circumstances outside our control), we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend all travelers purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and lost luggage.
